About Yearning Blue

Yearning Blue was never meant to be just a name.
It is a feeling that stayed long after the moment passed.

It comes from a quiet kind of longing...
The kind you feel when you remember a version of yourself or a moment that once felt lighter, calmer, untouched by everything you now carry.

Blue is not just sadness to me.
It is the sky that stretches endlessly above you when your thoughts won’t stop.
It is the water that feels peaceful until you realise how deep it goes.
It is summer memories that felt soft and infinite,
and winter mornings.

Yearning Blue lives in that in-between space,
between healing and hurting,
between who you were and who you are becoming. The past and the present.

And at the center of it is me... Kkeiko.

My journey has never been linear, never simple, never perfect.
It has been filled with ambition, risk, sadness, reinvention, and moments where everything felt like it was slipping through my hands.

I have a story to share and art to inspire people with! I have known what it feels like to build something from nothing.
To lose, to learn, to rebuild again stronger, but also more aware.

Yearning Blue is a reflection of that journey.

It is not about pretending to have it all figured out.
It is about being honest about the longing, the growth, the setbacks, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going.

It is for the people who are still becoming.
Still searching.
Still healing in ways no one else can see.

Because sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do
is continue... even when you’re still yearning.
